For those who are driving their own car and would like to visit the glacier and see the thighlands.

The tour  we will  take you from Gullfoss to  the highlands and onwards to Europe’s second largest glacier Langjökull.

ICE Explorer  will take you  from Gullfoss to and from the glaicer. On that way we will travel through  the higland the „Kjölur“ track and the track to the glaicer.  We  will see Icelandic wilderness  as we climb higher up  which will give us extraordinary view.  We will understand where the waterfall Gullfoss comes from, The White river, The White lake and how ther glacier is feeding all this. 

We will explore the glacier and take a light walk from the edge  on snow or ice according to the conditions on the glacier.  If necessary you will be provided crampons for the ice walk. 

Warm clothing and good shoes is required along with gloves and hat.  Sunglasses and suncream is important.
