Winter Safari tour takes you to the national park
Þingvellir. This is the original site of the oldest existing parliament
in the world. The Great Atlantic rift is clearly visible, a rift that is
slowly pulling Iceland apart along tectonic plates. We board the Ice Explorer and drive a highland road through a lava field where
we will see lava craters and caves.
